LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Detectives are searching for a driver accused of a road rage shooting early Wednesday morning.

Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened before 5:30 a.m. near South Arville Street and Blue Diamond Road. The caller said he was following a pickup truck driver who hit his car.

While following the driver, the caller told police the suspect shot at him. He stopped following the truck near the area of Russell Road and Torrey Pines Drive. Police said there were no injuries or damage caused by the shooting.

Detectives are asking for help to identify the pickup truck’s driver. Police say the vehicle is an unregistered and lifted 2000 - 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. Autoplay
