JAMMU, Nov 13: During the 19th Convocation of the University of Jammu, which was held here today, 603 candidates were awarded Degrees and Gold Medals.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, who is also the Chancellor of JU, graced the occasion as the chief guest and delivered the Convocation Address while Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who is also the Pro-Chancellor of JU, was the guest of honour.

This was the second special convocation, during which Gold Medals were awarded to 178 candidates from 2020 to 2023, including 43 candidates’ of 2020 batch, 85 of 2021 batch, 41 of 2022 batch and 39 of 2023 batch.
