NANTICOKE — The Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) Board of Trustees officially — and unanimously — approved a new three-year collective bargaining agreement (CBA) with the LCCC Association of Higher Education (AHE) on Thursday evening.
The CBA will last until Aug.31, 2028. The previous CBA expired on Aug. 31, 2025.
The details of the agreement, which was announced in its tentative form on Tuesday, Nov. 4, were approved on Wednesday night by the LCCC AHE, the local affiliate of the Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA), which is, in turn, an affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA).
