TEAGUE, Texas (KWTX) - Authorities are investigating a crash involving a small aircraft in Teague Thursday afternoon.
The single prop-fixed wing type plane, which seats four people, had a parachute-type system that was deployed and helped slow down the plane’s impact, according to Teague Police Chief DeWayne Philpott.
The aircraft hit a tree as it crashed and no injuries were reported.
The FAA is on its way from Dallas to investigate.
No further information is available. This is a developing story.
