Anthony Albanese has left open the possibility of a spring or summer wedding to fiancee Jodie Haydon.

From securing a landslide election win to meeting with Donald Trump, the Prime Minister has had a packed schedule since proposing to Ms Haydon on Valentines Day last year.

While he has kept tight-lipped on any wedding plans since their engagement, Mr Albanese on Friday suggested the date was nearing when asked if there was an “update”.

“There is, but we’ll let you know after it,” he told ABC radio.

Pressed on a possible “spring wedding or a summer wedding”, he would not confirm either but said he and Ms Haydon had settled on a small affair.
