The Richmond RCMP says it is asking anyone with information about a “brazen” break and enter at a jewelry store last week to come forward.

On Nov. 5, shortly after 3 a.m., officers responded to an alleged break and enter at Lansdowne Centre Mall on No. 3 Road near Alderbridge Way, police say.

According to reports, a black Kia SUV had driven through the mall doors and tried to enter a jewelry store.

Mounties say the suspects weren’t able to get into the store and drove away.

“There was a restaurant open with customers inside at the time of this alleged offence,” said Cpl. Adriana O’Malley.

“Fortunately, no one was injured, but the actions of these individuals put people at risk, which is why we are asking anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed this or have dash cam footage t
