A teacher is alleged to have had sex with a 14-year-old pupil and then stalked him after he dumped her.

Teresa Whalin, 28, allegedly had a sexual relationship with the pupil as well as exchanging nude photos with him. The teacher also allegedly created fake phone numbers to call him.

The boy reportedly struggled with his mental health following the alleged sexual relationship, which began in April 2023. An affidavit said the student had described the relationship as "dating", with he and the teacher sharing Snapchat messages, going out to eat together, and spending time in her classroom.
