RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - Officials with the Tri-City Violent Crimes Task Force operating in western North Carolina report two men were arrested in connection with criminal gang activity.

Officials said during an investigation into a criminal gang identified as “448,” indictments were secured on Nov. 10 on Dezani Arnell Dillard for gang activity. A search warrant was then executed at his residence on Seitz Drive in Forest City.

Around 68 grams of crack cocaine, a “Draco” style AK pistol, a Glock pistol, copious amounts of packaging for marijuana, numerous branded bags of marijuana prepared for consumption, and numerous items of gang paraphernalia were found and Dillard was taken into custody, officials said.
