Portland should expect continued rainy conditions Thursday night and into Friday, with scattered precipitation moving through the region.
Thursday night, stratus clouds will dominate the sky, with a 30%-60% chance of mild to moderate rain. Temperatures will remain mild, dropping into the low 50s. By Friday morning, showers should begin to dissipate, with improving conditions expected by 10 a.m.
By Friday evening, another frontal system should make its way into the area. From Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon, areas along the Oregon coast as well as north of Portland, particularly in Clark County, could see up to 0.25 inches of rain. But the Willamette Valley has a less than 10% chance of getting that much precipitation.
The extended outlook suggests a significant weather shift earl
