Relief is on the way for the hundreds of thousands of Ohioans who receive SNAP benefits.

On Thursday, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said full Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are set to be fully restored on Monday, November 17 as the government shutdown ends. Advertisement

But the timing may vary locally, according to officials.

Of the 97,000 Hamilton County residents who receive SNAP benefits, some received partial payments earlier this week but leaders said they've been directed to restore 100% benefits as soon as possible.
