WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — A rolling convoy of 72 little red wagons stopped traffic in the streets of West Hartford Thursday, all geared to support Morley Elementary School's Red Wagon Food Drive.

For the past 31 years, Morley students have made the trek to Town Hall with their teachers and parents to deliver thousands of food items for the community pantry. A total of 150 students helped with this year's deliveries.

Ryan Cleary, who has been the principal at Morley for the past 11 years, said, “We always work in collaboration with the food pantry to find what their most needed items of the season are."

He said the kids helped deliver "everything from from pasta to rice to canned vegetables and fruit—anything families can use at home.”
