Pherzawl, November 13 2025: The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW), in collaboration with the District Administration, Pherzawl, organized a one-day orientation and capacity-building programme on the "Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013" at the DC Conference Hall on Wednesday.

Speaking at the event, Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang, chairperson of MSCW, said this was the Commission's first visit to Pherzawl and part of its plan to reach all districts across Manipur.

She urged all offices in the district to form Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) as mandated by the Act and to display awareness posters in workplaces to ensure a safe and respectfill work environment for women.
