Former prime minister Julia Gillard has admitted there have been “a few errors” in diversity, equity and inclusion campaigns since her time in office.
Ms Gillard was addressing attendees at the annual Sohn Hearts & Minds event where leading investors, bankers and philanthropists gathered.
She was asked by UNSW chancellor David Gonski about her famous misogyny speech where she attacked then opposition leader Tony Abbott during Question Time in 2012, and how she thinks things have changed on gender relations since.
Ms Gillard then expressed regrets about how DEI campaigns were pursued over the past decade and took a shot at Donald Trump.
