BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - North Dakota Health and Human Services says it is working to distribute Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits following the end of the government shutdown.
HHS says those who only received partial November benefits will receive the remaining amount, and those who did not receive their benefits will receive their full benefits.
HHS will distribute payments as soon as it can update its systems to reflect SNAP’s continuation, which could happen by Monday at the earliest.
