It turns out, one of history’s most infamous figures may have been hiding more than we all know till now. A new Channel 4 documentary, Hitler’s DNA: Blueprint of a Dictator, suggests Adolf Hitler may have had a rare genetic disorder called Kallmann Syndrome. The condition can cause low testosterone and, in some cases, a micro-penis.
Researchers made the discovery after studying DNA from bloodstains found on the couch where Hitler died in 1945. An American soldier had taken a piece of that couch as a memory, not realizing it would one day reveal key details about the dictator’s health.
Geneticist Professor Turi King, who led the study, said, “If he was to look at his own genetic results, he would have almost certainly have sent himself to the gas chambers.” The chilling irony wasn’t lost
