MARTIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - The Martin County Sheriff’s Office says there is an active situation going on on Eli Bowen Road and is advising residents to stay out of the area.

They say those who live there should lock their doors and call 911 if they notice any strange people or activity.

The sheriff’s office said that if people see a black male with no shirt and dreadlocks, to call 911.
