SALT LAKE CITY — Sheriff deputies from Emery County and Grand County announced the seizure of more than 84 pounds of drugs during a vehicle search on Sunday.

According to the Emery County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, deputies secured 70 pounds of methamphetamine, 12.4 pounds of marijuana and 2.2 pounds of cocaine.

The Grand County Sheriff’s Office Facebook account reposted the Emery County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, responding with “Team work .”

The joint investigation that led to the capture of the drugs involved other states and jurisdictions, requiring the Department of Homeland Security to be involved in the situation.
