CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- It’s been three years since the shooting that took the lives of three University of Virginia football players and wounded two other students. Today, UVA hosted a series of memorial events to honor those lost and support a community still healing.

November 13, 2022, remains a day that shocked not only UVA but the nation. Each year, the community pauses to remember and honor the lives of Devin Chandler, D’Sean Perry and Lavel Davis Jr.
