Senapati, November 13 2025: In a move to strengthen ties with tribal communities and assess ongoing welfare initiatives, BJP National Secretary BL Santosh and the party's Northeast in-charge Dr Sambit Patra held an interaction with members of the Maram Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) .

The meeting held at the DRDA Hall, Senapati brought together PVTG, village chiefs and local leaders to discuss the condition of the community and the progress of the PM-JANMAN scheme.

Dr Sambit Patra highlighted that the PM-JANMAN scheme aims to uplift PVTG communities through 11 key interventions implemented by nine line Ministries, focusing on improving basic facilities across 26 states of India, with the largest number of beneficiaries in Odisha.
