Storyteller and author Laksh Maheshwari is all set to make his Bollywood debut, with two of his works being adapted for the big screen. While official announcements are still awaited, the writer has confirmed that both projects are in development and expected to go on floors next year.
Speaking during a recent visit to Lucknow, Maheshwari shared details about the first project, which is based on the opening book of his trilogy, The Descendents. “We even have a sticker that says ‘soon to be a major motion picture’. A production house, which is also behind the upcoming film Mastii 4, has acquired the rights and is mounting a large-scale project, around a Rs 100-crore venture," he revealed.
