ASHEVILLE – The scoreboard didn’t faze Reynolds boys soccer during the halftime break. Despite being down a goal to No. 4 Watauga, the Rockets felt like they just needed a breakthrough to swing the momentum their way.

In the 50th minute, senior Christian Penland got the ball on his right foot and fired it off the post and in. Eight minutes later, sophomore Alex Golovchuk drove home the go-ahead goal in a 2-1 win on Nov. 13.
