New Delhi, Nov 14: Counting of votes for Bihar’s Assembly election commenced on November 14, starting with postal ballots at 8 a.m. and Electronic Voting Machines at 8:30 a.m.
Security measures include a multi-tier system across 46 counting centres, overseen by the Central Armed Police Force and Bihar Police, with over 106 additional security personnel deployed. Strongrooms are under 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
Candidates and agents can monitor the process outside the inner security perimeter. The counting is managed by 243 Returning Officers and Observers, while more than 18,000 agents assist in oversight. Entry to counting centres is strictly controlled, and live results are available on the Election Commission’s website and Voter Helpline App.
