Kai Trump, the US president’s granddaughter and the eldest child of Donald Trump Jr, is going viral for her opening round at The Annika on Thursday.

Her playing at the tournament was already controversial as the 18-year-old, who is committed to playing golf for Miami, ranks 461st in the American Junior Golf Association Girls rankings.

Kai Trump doesn’t have any expectations for this week’s Annika, but all eyes were still on her.

Trump pushed back the criticism and got on the course to open her LPGA career with a 13-over-par 83. It was a debut that left her at the bottom of the leaderboard.
