DETROIT – The Detroit Red Wings desperately needed to solve their power play issues, end their scoring drought, shore up their penalty kill and most of all, find a way to win.

They accomplished all of the above with a 6-3 victory Thursday over the Anaheim Ducks at Little Caesars Arena to snap a three-game losing streak.

Moritz Seider and Alex DeBrincat scored power-play goals after the team had gone 0 for 13 in its previous four games and 1 for 20 over five games. Michael Rasmussen, Alex Sandin-Pellikka and Dylan Larkin scored at even strength for a team that had netted two goals in three games and six goals in its previous five games.

DeBrincat scored an empty-net goal, his sixth of the season, with 2:01 remaining.
