NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A new era is beginning at the site of the Old Spaghetti Factory in downtown Nashville.
The Old Spaghetti Factory building was damaged in the bombing on 2nd Avenue on Christmas day in 2020. The restaurant permanently closed after the bombing.
2nd Avenue was reopened in June of last year with improvements to pedestrian crossings and walking areas.
On Thursday, the Heritage Project showed plans for rebuilding the area.
The revitalization project will include 9,800 feet of ground floor retail space and new residences above that.
