Carin León and Kacey Musgraves delivered the first live performance of their Spanglish duet, “Lost in Translation,” at the 26th Latin Grammys on Thursday night.
León began with a rendition of his song “Ahi Estabas Tu” before Musgraves appeared on the B-stage, where León joined her for “Lost in Translation.” Musgraves danced in circles with León as they switched between English and Spanish, bringing their duet to life for the Vegas crowd. Musgraves and León co-wrote “Lost In Translation” alongside Amy Allen and Shane McAnally, and had Julian Bunetta produce the song with Matt Zara. They debuted the song in August, blending country with ranchera on the romantic tune.
