The funeral for former Vice President Dick Cheney will take place next week.
According to a press release, the services will be held at Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, Nov. 20. The funeral will begin at 11 a.m. ET.
Cheney died of complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease on Nov. 3 at the age of 84.
Cheney served as the 46th vice president under former President George W. Bush from 2001 to 2009. Cheney was also the defense secretary from 1989 to 1993 under Bush's father, George H.W. Bush.
The cathedral has held state funerals for five U.S. presidents, including Dwight D. Eisenhower, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter.
