CANFIELD The Ohio State University (OSU) Extension in Mahoning County is offering several classes in 2026 and is inviting interested community members to apply.

According to a news release, several classes will be offered in 2026, including:

ServSafe Food Safety Training

Master Gardener Volunteer (MGV)

Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist (OCVN)

Applications to the MGV and OCVN classes are due by Friday, December 5, 2025.

Registration for the ServSafe Food Safety Training is encouraged, as space is limited and classes usually fill quickly, according to the release.
