Leh, Nov13: In a significant step towards promoting inclusivity and ensuring ease of mobility for persons with disabilities, the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has issued S.O. 124, granting 50% concession on standard passenger fares for individuals belonging to specific categories of persons with disabilities as defined under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

As per the notification issued by the Transport Department, this fare concession shall be applicable to travel by both State Road Transport Corporation and private transport operators operating within the Union territory of Ladakh.
