Imphal, November 13 2025: Makuiluangdi Festival 2025, a cultural festival of Zeliangrong/Luangdimai people will be held from November 18 to 21 at Makuiluangdi, announced the Central Organizing Committee of the festival.

The festival will be held under the theme "Malanwangbo: Return of the Native" .

Some of the highlights of the festival are the ancestral trail run from Makhel to Makuiluangdi, piling of village stones at the hallowed ground; folk song competition; painting competition; traditional games and sports; exhibition of arts and crafts, it added.

The Committee appealed to all Zeliangrong/ Luangdimai villagers who have not brought their village stones in the 2019 festival to bring their village stones to be placed at the Hallowed Ground as a symbolic gesture of Malanwangbo - a r
