The New York Mets announced Thursday that outfielders Carlos Beltrán and Lee Mazzilli, along with manager Bobby Valentine, will be inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame in 2026, bringing total membership to 38.
The ceremony date will be announced in the coming months.
Beltrán, a native of Manati, Puerto Rico, ranks in the top 10 in team history in home runs, RBI, runs scored, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS.
He signed a seven-year contract with the Mets in January 2005 and became a five-time All-Star, three-time Gold Glove winner and two-time Silver Slugger during his tenure. In 2006, he finished second in the National League in bWAR at 8.2 and helped the Mets advance to the NLCS.
