Imphal, November 13 2025: The Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS), Manipur, as part of its ongoing effort to promote sustainable farming and enhance rural livelihoods, distributed winter crop (Rabi) seeds to farmers of Thoubal district.

According to a statement issued by FOCS, the seed distribution ceremony was held at Salungpham Mayai Community Hall in collaboration with the District Agriculture Officer (DAO), Thoubal.

During the event, winter crop seeds were distributed to more than 300 farmers from different parts of the district.

FOCs stated that the initiative aims to support local farmers in achieving better productivity and self-reliance through sustainable agricultural practices.
