A Dallas-area law school instructor, 67-year-old Charles Hosch, is missing after failing to return from a hike near the Appalachian Trail in north Georgia this week.

Hosch, an adjunct professor at SMU Dedman School of Law, was last seen Tuesday at the Byron Herbert Reece Trailhead in Georgia.
