JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 68-year-old Jacksonville man is facing at least ten burglary charges following a string of crimes against local businesses.

Arthur Virgil III was arrested on Oct. 21, but police were looking for a man matching his description weeks before.

According to an arrest report, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a reported burglary at Toscana Little Italy in Miramar in the early morning hours of Oct. 9. The glass front door had been shattered with a concrete block, and the cash box from the register was stolen. It wasn't the only business targeted in the plaza, however.
