ATLANTIC CITY — Democratic newcomer Maureen Rowan ousted incumbent Republican Assemblywoman Claire Swift in the 2nd Legislative District in voting that also saw Republican Don Guardian reelected.

Vote counting resumes Thursday in too-close-to-call 2nd District Assembly race

Election officials will resume counting ballots in the still too-close-to-call race for two state Assembly seats in the 2nd District on Thursday with at least 900 left to be tallied.
