ORONO -- After just squeaking in the playoffs, followed by a miraculous run to a third consecutive America East title, the Maine Women's Soccer Team is ready for round one of the NCAA tournament.
The tournament committee showing the Black Bears some respect. Two years ago they were matched up with a No. 3-seed, last year a No. 4-seed, and this year it's a No. 7-seed in the UCF Knights.
That game is on Friday at 7PM down in Orlando.
The Black Bears have certainly been battle tested, winning their semifinal game in overtime and the championship game in penalty kicks, and they believe that experience will benefit them.
