Labour must refocus as Starmer is hurting Sarwar's chances at Holyrood election

With six months to go to the Holyrood election, Scottish Labour should be focused on SNP failures. ‌

They need to be concentrating on the NHS and the crisis in council services. ‌

Sluggish economic growth and a looming budget gap should also be highlighted. But the continuing meltdown in Downing Street is hampering Anas Sarwar’s ability to hold the Scottish Government to account. ‌

The fact is Keir Starmer’s mistakes are letting the SNP off the hook.

His winter fuel payments cuts damaged Sarwar , as did the inexplicable decision to hike national insurance contributions for businesses.
