COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A semi-truck caught fire tonight at the corner of Wynnton and Buena Vista Road in Midtown, prompting road closures in the area.

Reports of the fire came into the newsroom around 9:40 p.m.

No injuries were reported. Video showed flames spreading quickly before firefighters extinguished the blaze.

The cause of the 18-wheeler fire remains unclear.
