Ihave finally found someone who thinks like I do about exercising

I know it’s good for you, and if you want to live a long, healthy life, exercise is beneficial to achieving that goal.

I have often asked my doctor, “Are you sure exercise is good for you? It seems to me that it just wears a person out and shortens the expected life span. That seems logical.”

With a smile, he always replies that I am wrong about that.

One of my nieces has a husband who is exercise personified. He used to ride the RAGBRAI, an event where hundreds of people ride their bikes across the whole state of Iowa.

Recently, however, due to aging intelligently, he now only swims, runs and works exercise machines — every day (he’s slowing down.)
