ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. —

A New Orleans City Park police officer has been arrested and is facing a charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile after he spoke with a minor on an app called "Just A Baby."

According to Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill's office, Clarence Lee Evans, 45, is accused of traveling to St. Landry Parish on two different occasions to meet with a minor. Advertisement

Murrill's office says Evans took the minor girl to a hotel twice, where he is accused of manually trying to impregnate her for the purpose of conceiving a child. However, Murrill said it does not appear the two had intercourse.

Evans is facing two charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one charge of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles.
