Dehradun : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a big plan to boost wellness and tourism in the state. Two economic spiritual zones will be created—one in Garhwal and one in Kumaon. These zones will focus on yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, and spiritual tourism.

The announcement was made during the PGICON-2025 international conference. The Chief Minister said that these zones will help make Uttarakhand a model state for spiritual and wellness economy. They will also create jobs and business opportunities for local youth.
