LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Starting a conversation about mental health can be difficult for many people, especially in the workplace. But Hussong’s Mexican Cantina is using an app to make those conversations easier for employees.

In the restaurant industry, long hours, fast pace and constant pressure can take a toll on the people who keep businesses running. At Hussong’s Mexican Cantina, leadership says checking in on employee mental health is just as important as scheduling and training.

“If you’re not investing and you’re not respecting your employees, your frontline people where the rubber meets the road, then you got things backwards,” a manager said.
