The counting of votes is underway for all 243 assembly seats in Bihar amid tight security. As per trends available so far, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has crossed the halfway mark of 122 and is heading towards victory over the Mahagathbandhan in the state. Trends are available for all 243 seats. BJP is leading 69, JDU in 76, LJP in 12. RJD is leading in 59, Congress 16, Jan Suraj Party 2 and Others 9. Both Deputy Chief Ministers and BJP candidates Vijay Kumar Sinha and Samrat Choudhary are leading. Maithili Thakur of the BJP is also leading in Alinagar seat, while senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey is trailing in Siwan. Tejashwi Prasad Yadav of RJD is leading in Raghopur.
