STARKE, Fla. (WCJB) - The death sentence has been carried out for a former Marine convicted of kidnapping, raping and killing a six-year-old girl.
Officials confirm 66-year-old Bryan Jennings’ time of death as 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, decades after the 1979 murder of sexually assaulted six-year-old Rebecca Kunash in Brevard County.
Jennings was Florida’s 16th execution this year.
The next scheduled execution is Richard Randolph, convicted for the 1988 murder of a convenience store clerk in Palatka.
