The WPIAL championship game in Pennsylvania high school football is one round away in Class 5A.

One of the top games to watch in the state this week is Peters Township (11-0) vs. Upper St. Clair (10-2) in the Class 5A WPIAL District 7 semifinals in western Pennsylvania. Peters Township is the No. 2 seed and Upper St. Clair is No. 6.

The winner moves a step closer to winning a PIAA championship, taking on either Pine-Richland or Moon Area in the next round — the WPIAL Class 5A championship game.
