SALISBURY — Two men will serve life in prison without the possibility of parole after being convicted of murder in the 2021 killing of Judy Eller Hoffner.
“This has been a nightmare for the last four years. I can’t imagine any other family being in our shoes and going through this. There’s nobody on the other side of the phone to say I love you, no Christmas presents to give, no flowers to buy. She will never enjoy Thanksgiving again at my brother’s,” said Stanley Stiller, Hoffner’s son.
