JAISALMER: A 17-year-old died after his neck was severed when he stuck his head out of a bus window to spit gutkha and collided with a govt veterinary ambulance coming from the opposite direction on Chohtan Road in Dhanau police station area of Barmer district Thursday. He died on the spot. The horrific incident led to screams and chaos in the bus. The boy was travelling to Barmer to get medicine for his sick father. Chohtan DSP Jetharam Jaypal and Dhanau SHO Govindram reached the accident spot and seized both the veterinary ambulance and the bus. The SHO said the boy, Rahmatullah, a resident of Bisasar, was sitting in the last seat of the private bus.
