LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Dozens of Lincoln residents packed into the Antelope Park enclosed shelter on Thursday, to hear from Lincoln Transportation and Utilities about improvements set to happen on Randolph street.

The project is expected to span about 1.2 miles, between Capitol Parkway and South 40th street.

LTU said the proposed improvements will widen the street to meet minimum design standard lane widths, reconstruct the curbs and gutters and mill and resurface the street.

Crews will also be redoing driveways for commercial and residential properties along Randolph, as well as adding in two roundabouts at the 33rd and 40th street intersections.
