Unlocked at level 16 , the MXR-17 is the third assault rifle you'll gain access to after Black Ops 7 's launch . Coming from the AK-27, you'll see better base stats on the MXR-17, but there are a couple of immediately noticeable pitfalls: the MXR-17 has very strong vertical recoil and a small magazine. The former can be easily compensated for, but the latter is best built around.
