xThe Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) , founded by political strategist Prashant Kishor , appears to have made a muted debut in the Bihar Assembly elections, with early trends from the Election Commission showing the party failing to secure leads in any constituency.

The party, which had created a buzz prior to the polls for its promise of “clean governance” and “good governance,” is yet to make an impact in the initial rounds of counting. Political analysts say the JSP’s role as a “vote-splitter” will be closely watched, especially to determine if it affected the margins of any major alliances like the NDA or the INDIA bloc.
